The Center

     The center is a non-profit organization who is doing the best they can to enlighten the public about the LGBT community. This is done by events, the biggest is PrideFest, along with Volunteer Appreciation Celebration, and LGBT Community Lobby Day.
     The Center relies on volunteers, many are straight men and women, and the same time educates the straight community, which surrounds it. The LGBT are people to, most of us are afraid of what we don't understand, by doing or saying stupid and cruel remarks.
    Not that I'll know or learn everything in my short time with The Center, but will definitely have a little more understanding of how to act and what to say that is apropriate.

Men Or Women Movements

   To be honest about everything I don't identify with anyone. I'm shaped with the times, I don't again follow any movement stronly. I adapt. My up bring moves me to a direction or now my children moves me to a direction. Weither i like that move or not I still make that move.
   If I had to choose one, the womens first movement, women or more that just objects, or a household object. I'm all for equal right for a women across the board. If I could stay home and do household chores I would, but at this point in time, I am the bread winner for a better lack of title.
   This is a choice at my house not a norm. My children, all of them know how to do the laundry, cook, childcare, fix item in the house, learn about a car, etc.
   Yet this is what I learned in my house growing up and I'm pasting this on, with the same idea that my children will past this on. So where does this fit in on any movement??

language shapes awareness

Per our last class language shapes awarness and yes it does. Blogs where the hell did this come from?
A form of communication that is faster than a letter and fit for the general public. Is this a fad?
Don't know. Thirty years ago the word didn't exsist, Gee, neither did the PC. Many of our slang words does shape stuff and more stuff.
